Nationwide Delivery
Supply & installation anywhere in NZ
We take ownership of the whole project, from first brief to final handover. One team, one fixed price, one point of accountability. No coordinating trades. No chasing deliveries. No surprises at the end.

Every project follows the same clear process. You know what is happening at every stage and so do we.

We take accountability for the whole job. One team, from first brief to final handover. If something needs resolving, we resolve it.
Every shelter is designed for your site. Standard configurations for speed and value, or fully bespoke when your project demands it. We never ask you to compromise on fit or function.
Over 20 councils rely on NZ Shelters across consecutive rollout programmes. That continuity is built on consistent delivery, quality product, and straight dealing.
You always deal with someone who knows your project. Fast to respond and direct in communication. We are a focused team — you get answers, not transfers.
Standard sizes for speed and value, fully custom when your project demands it. You get exactly what your site needs — not a compromise that creates problems later.
One shelter or a nationwide rollout — the same process, the same quality, the same accountability. Councils rely on us year after year because we consistently deliver what we commit to.
One price covers design, manufacture, freight, and installation. We stick to it. The number you quote-accept is the number on the invoice — unless your brief changes, nothing else does.
We manage every stage. One contact from brief to handover. If something needs resolving during the project, we resolve it — not you. That's what full project ownership means.

NZ Shelters designs, supplies and installs aluminium shelters across New Zealand. Our range covers bus shelters, smoking shelters, vaping shelters, bike and cycle storage shelters, guard hut shelters, school waiting shelters, and emergency muster point shelters. We manage the whole job — design, freight and installation — for councils, businesses, schools, architects and property managers nationwide.
NZ Shelters is based in Auckland, and we supply and install shelters anywhere in New Zealand. We have a network of installations nationwide who provide a consistent, professional install service.
NZ Shelters standard shelter products are made from an aluminium frame< which is designed not to rust - perfect for New Zealand's coastal and high-UV conditions. Frames are powdercoated to your choice of colour, and standard glazing is either laminated safety glass or perforated aluminium panels. If you require custom glazing, just ask!
Yes, bus shelters are one of NZ Shelters' core products, and we supply councils and public transport projects throughout New Zealand. We offer a range of standard sizes and styles for ease of specification, but we can build to a custom design where a project calls for it.
A muster point, or emergency assembly point, is the designated place people gather during an evacuation. Nearly every workplace has a muster point to comply with H&S requirements. We supply muster point shelters that provide a safe zone with sufficient space for all staff onsite to gather in an emergency or evacuation situation.
Yes. We work from a set range of styles and widths as a starting point and powder coat to your choice of colour. Where a project needs a specific size, layout or branding, we design to that - send us the details or drawings and we'll work it through with you.
Lead times for our standard shelters typically sit around 4-6 weeks from order through to installation. Lead times for custom shelter projects may differ. Reach out to ask about your specific project and we can advise current lead times.
It depends on the size and the situation. Schedule 1 of the Building Act exempts certain small, single-storey structures from building consent, and many shelters fall within those exemptions — but the thresholds, footings and distance to boundaries all matter, so it's not automatic. We can give you general guidance for the shelter you're looking at, and we'd always recommend confirming with your local council or building consent authority before you commit.
