Every NZ Shelters project follows the same clear five-step process. From the first conversation to ongoing support – you know exactly what's happening at every stage.
The NZ Shelters Process
Five Steps. Shelter Delivered.
01
Understand Your Project
site review
Requirements Brief
Budget Discussion
Every good shelter project starts with a proper brief. We take the time to understand your site, your requirements, your budget, and your timeline before we suggest anything. For most projects a detailed phone conversation is all we need. Site visits are available for larger projects.
Based on your brief, we develop the shelter specification – product selection, dimensions, cladding, colour, and any custom elements. For custom projects, this includes concept drawings. For standard products, it's a detailed spec sheet with a fixed-price quote.
Once you've approved the design and quote, we lock in the programme. Manufacturing lead times, delivery scheduling, installation dates, site access requirements, and any consent or council notification processes are coordinated at this stage.
This is where the work gets done. Your shelter arrives on site and our professional installation team handles it – structure, cladding, and final fit-out. We don't leave until the shelter meets our standard and yours. A formal handover with documentation is part of every installation.
Installation isn't the end of our relationship. We provide ongoing support — spare parts, additional units as your needs grow, and advice on maintenance. For council clients on ongoing programmes, we become a long-term partner who knows your network and your preferences.
